Welcome to the Rodley Nature Reserve websiteRodley Nature Reserve is designed to bring wetland wildlife back into the Leeds area. Created on a floodplain in the Kirkstall Valley, a recognised 'flyway' for wildfowl and waders on migration, the wetland habitats constructed here complements the nearby River Aire and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal Site of Special Scientific Interest. The existing wildlife of the area is not forgotten. The wetlands are enhanced by the surrounding scrub, woodland and grassland.
